"Place was difficult to find. The direction led to the back of the building where there was no signage so you aren't sure if you are at the right place. You then have to climb up 5 storeys to reach the front to enter the building to check in. All this while lugging your luggage!
Also cleanliness or orderliness was not a priority. Wife found her pillow mouldy, mould was all over the hair dryer in the bathroom where tiles were cracked. To reach the room you go through an area where things appear...

"The hotel had the perfect set up for a very enjoyable stay near Jiufen Old Street. It was like staying in a hidden four star hotel with a modern clean room, free fully stocked mini bar, great view of the ocean, and friendly staff. Very easy to get to, and so conveniently located to explore the lantern alleys at night when the tourist have all left. We were able to get the full experience of Studio Ghibli' Spirited Away thanks to this hotel."

"Cute and cosy! Really convenient little place to stay with a lovely comfortable room. The views were great and location just a stone throw from the main areas. Seemed like one of the best places to stay in the area. The room is spacious and quiet - we really enjoyed the bathtub with a view of the mountains and the little balcony offers amazing views too. "
