"The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around. The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose from. The bus station is 20 minutes away, and offers good routes to other towns and beaches. I would definitely stay again."

"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."

"Overall good for what it is, however. Very family friendly, with lots of kids running around. The area is conveniently close to Chania. The breakfast is relatively good for a buffet style, and better than your basic continental. The rooms are dated and are in desperate need of a renovation. The main sticking point for me is the bathroom, it is very small, and overall not very nice. There is no shower curtain so you have to be careful of the shower head angle. Despite the bathroom being small, there also is a small kitchenette that is eating away at valuable real estate. There are 2 burners, sink, and mini fridge and some basic appliances however the burners seem kinda useless to me since there are no pots and pans. Overall good for what it is, I’d say it’s probably a 3 star hotel, I’d recommend if you get a good deal."

"Stayed at Hyperion City Hotel. It didn't disappoint. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Especially the reception staff. The room.was excellent and the bed seriously comfortable. We were given a complimentary drink on arrival. I would definitely recommend and the only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer."

"Hôtel hauteur humaine, à quelques pas de la vieille ville sans être dans la veille ville, avec vue sur la mer ou partiellement, avec roof top pour cocktail de fin d’après-midi ou coucher de soleil. J’y retournerai c’est sûr"

"Very well located hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, could have had greater variety of breads, hot dishes and juices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the aircon had been switched off all over the hotel so had to keep windows open which meant there was a lot of noise from the street. Two of the rooms had sinks outside the bathroom"

"Absolutely wonderful stay! Staff was lovely, accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was also spotlessly clean. There are not enough superlatives for how wonderful this hotel is. The ruins inside are also so cool! Definitely a must stay!"
