"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. They have activities on site which...

As soon as you walk in you can see that the photos really didn't do the place justice, we were very impressed. "The hotel was clean and facilities generally good, although beds not overly comfortable. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good as was the parking. I would use the hotel again in the future. Our stay was spoiled slightly by other noisy guests and unsupervised children in the restaurant and running in the corridors in the early hours. This was not the hotel’s fault. Good location"
