“The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area.”

“Overall a great place to stay for a night on our way to our final destination. Was a little frustrating to wake up with no working water, but made it work. Would stay again! There is no front desk so you have to call a number to check in or for any issues. When we woke in the morning to find no water, it was hard to get ahold of anyone, as the phone number is someone’s cell phone + they have you call a different number outside of 9-9 + you have to try to write down a different number from the……

“The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to……

“I booked a King Room handicap accessable 2 months ago. When we arrived at the property, I was told that the only room that was available 2 Queens no. Handicap accessable because they had booked 2 accommodations for 2 wedding parties and there was nothing they could do for me. I made my displeasure known and was then asked to park behind the building to allow for more wedding party parking. I tried calling Mariott and they said that nothing could be done for me because I booked through Expedia……

“Very low quality breakfast”

“the staff was helpful and very friendly”

“Gorgeous and quaint place to stay!”

“If you love the smell of pot, highly intoxicated adults screaming, yelling, stomping 24/7 in the room next then this is the motel for you! However, it was NOT the hotel for us! We smelled pot all night the night before and reported it to night shift. My husband is in the union and passing drug test is a priority. The walls are super thin and you breathe in whatever this property allows them to smoke! We booked through Expedia and they tried to get this property to sign a waiver to release us for……

“the hotel is clean but small room.”

“We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place……

“Sweet little seaside motel with glorious views of the ocean. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and appeared to be recently remodeled. Only complaint is the linens were a little scratchy, and the pillows were hard. I also understand everyone has a preference and mine may not be the same as others. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“The great thing is that the motel is near eateries, gas stations etc. There are some updates in the rooms but holes/peeled paint on entry doors and walls in the hotel room. I cleaned the vents in the fans before I used the heater bc it was quite dirty. The staff is lovely and quickly responded to my concerns about the people above me.”
