“This hotel was a gem! Beautiful, sleek style, intertwining with their garden and animals to visit and well situated for Baie St-Paul. The room was comfortable and the view as advertised : we could see St-Laurence river with big boat passing afar. The staff was smiling and helpful, moreover we could see them gathering and being happy together. Which is a sign of good management in my book. We will definitively go back, and we recommend it.”

“À mon arrivée, l’hôtel avait perdu ma réservation. Attente de 45 minutes dans le hall pour finalement avoir une chambre. Au check-out ils ont demandé un montant d’argent à ma conjointe en disant qu’on avait pas payé la chambre au complet mais pourtant j’avais payé via Expédia. Après 10 jours de notre séjour, je n’ai toujours pas récupéré mon dépôt de 250$ sur la chambre alors je devrai appeler pour savoir pourquoi c’est aussi long”

“Great location and very clean. Check in is at a near-by restaurant, only a few minutes walk away. Breakfast that is included is at restaurant and very good. Washrooms are shared, but we were only 2-3 rooms being used during our stay for the 2 bathrooms, so was not an issue.”

“Le petit déjeuner était très pauvre et aussi malheureusement le restaurant n'est pas propre vue qu'il n'y pas beaucoup de voyageurs même le responsable de l'hôtel nous a dit il y'a pas beaucoup de choix en petit déjeuner c du au manque des passagers. Personnellement pour moi une mauvaise expérience. Sachant que l'accueil était chaleureux.”

“Very nice apartment. I wish it would have had some basic kitchen supplies like coffee and cooking oil. The pots and pans were very cheap. Dryer was very slow. I wish it had a vacuum so I could have cleaned up a little bit. Otherwise it was very spacious and a nice kitchen.”

“This hotel is well located in the village of Baie St. Paul. However, that’s the only thing that’s positive. It is old, with a very dark and smelly reception area. The rooms are old with dilapidated bathrooms. There was no television in the first room we were shown. In the later room the TV was actually a computer monitor. The breakfast is a plate of small portions of cake, fruit, a sausage and cheese, no toast! It was really not a good experience at all!”

They serve a small buffet breakfast that's quite good. The restaurant also serves a delicious dinner. They have a really nice patio. “We did a 'tour of Canada' by car. We stayed in Saguenay for 3 nights, Charlevoix for 1, Quebec City for 2, Montreal for 2 and Kingston for 1. This hotel was one that the kids will remember for years to come. It was incredibly unique and the view was spectacular. Hot tub was a bonus and had all of the 'creature comforts' that you could hope for. The loft bed was a highlight as it provided stunning unencumbered views down the mountain. Just simply beautiful.”

“Beau séjour d’une nuit sur l’isle. La chambre fut upgradée avec vu sur l’eau car il n’y avait peu d’achalandage à mon passage. Perso, l’hotel et les avis sont sous-côtés. Oui la chambre était petite et tout est croche (le plancher est croche, les tableaux sont croches), l’eau chaude prend terriblement de temps à arriver mais est terriblement chaude quand elle arrive! Haha (j’étais au 2e) La chambre était propre et la literie blanche immaculée. Certains diront désuet, moi je dis cachet. C’est……

“La réception est extrêmement difficile à trouver. Il manque d'indication pour s'y rendre. La chambre sentait un peu le renfermé et lors de ma première nuit, des gens changeaient des meubles de place jusqu'à 23:40. Le reste était très bien.”
