BohoPad: Bring Out the Boho | Peaceful Hideaway

Turn in through a driveway that feels like a green tunnel, and you`re in your own little world, away from everything. A cedar-paneled bedroom under vaulted ceilings, rain on the tin roof: BohoPad is a renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath hideaway in Matthews, about 15 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Sleeps 6.

Boho, bohemian, Sufi: different names for the same free-spirited feeling, and it`s what we built BohoPad around. Handpicked furniture, splashes of color, intricate tile, and big windows that bring the garden inside.

• 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6: a queen bed, two twin beds, and a full-size air mattress with bedding
• Cedar-paneled bedroom with vaulted ceilings and Middle Eastern-inspired bathrooms
• Full kitchen and dining area, plus coffee, linens, and towels ready for you
• Fire pit for evenings outside
• Great for a couples` weekend, a small family, or a work trip

Finding it: BohoPad sits back from the street and is easy to miss. Look for the olive fence and the tree trunks wrapped in hand-knitted, colorful sleeves.

Getting around: About 2 miles from downtown Matthews, close to South Charlotte shopping, and about 15 minutes to Uptown, NoDa, and Plaza Midwood. We live about 15 minutes away if you need us.

House rules

We keep things simple, and we do hold to these:

• Guest count: up to 6 guests, and only the number on the booking may be at the home, at any time.
• No parties or gatherings. Space and parking at BohoPad are limited.
• No pets, sorry. (Our Boho-Bagh and Boho by the Water homes are pet-friendly.)
• No smoking or vaping inside the home. A penalty of at least $500, plus cleaning and any damage costs, applies.
• Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be kind to our neighbors.
• Check-in after 4 PM, checkout by 11 AM. Early check-in or late checkout may be possible if the calendar allows: $75 on weekdays, $100 on a Friday or Saturday. Please ask ahead.
• Cameras: one exterior camera covers the driveway and entrance only, to confirm arrival, departure, and guest count. No cameras inside, and the rest of the yard is private.
• Please don`t drop by before booking. The home is only open to guests with a confirmed stay.
• Your door code and arrival details arrive on check-in day, between 12 and 1 PM.
