WORST VRBO experience
Booked this placed two days before our scheduled check in for a sports event in Charlotte NC, messaged the host thru the app several times requesting check in instructions and never heard back. The day of our check in while driving 6 hours from VA called the host 3 times to finally get him to pick the phone up, he could not locate our booking and didn’t even remember this property while I can hear him dealing with his kids and talking to them while on the phone with me. Finally he located the booking and tells me the property was doubled booked and we would have to cancel without even apologizing nor offering a solution. He even requested me to cancel the reservation on my end to get a full refund. Obviously we were left stranded and had to book a last minute place thru VRBOs main competitor website for almost twice the cost as it was last minute. This person manages 30 properties as he told me on the phone and I suggest not booking here unless you want a huge headache.
