“I had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night and it was wonderful. The location is perfect and quiet, and it was good to enjoy some peace after spending time in other busier towns/cities. Esther was a great host, very kind and welcoming. Will be recommending this place to anyone who travels to this part of New Zealand.”

“Ray was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and warm. Didn’t realise it was separate from the bathroom although that was in the description. No sign of a hot tub? Would be better in the summer to enjoy the deck.”

“A lovely cabin beautifully appointed with everything one needs. Very praceful and relaxing. I wish we had more time there. Only downside is the lack of a store nearby for groceries.”

“Our family only stayed one night but it was lovely. Super comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a great view of the surrounding countryside. The breakfast supplies provided (fresh farm eggs, bread, homemade jams) were also great, especially as the location is somewhat remote. Definitely a great place to stop if you are exploring the area.”
