「We had a short trip to leave my grandson at Rockford University. There was a lot of rushing around, back and forth, getting things arranged, but this house provided a lovely respite for us each evening to relax and get good sleep. The owners are very responsive, the kitchen is well-stocked, and everything is well-labeled. Even as modern amenities abound, the house is a beautiful specimen of Victorian architecture. 」

「We enjoyed our stay, just had to clean a little first. We were not allowed to receive the address before the day of our arrival and we were driving 8 hours. By the time we got on our way, we couldn't access VRBO website. It kept saying they were having issues. So we had to find a number to call. Gentleman we reached sent us the address and access code. Other than some inconveniences, it was a great place for a lot of people. 」

「This house was exceptional! From the price, to the amount of bedrooms/space, to the distance/Location, amenities, the exceptionally Large backyard, even down to having enough parking for our cars – my Large family and I greatly appreciate finding this gem and had a great weekend! We are saving this home as a favorite for our future family gatherings. Although we didn’t use the paddle boat, our 1-year-old babies to our 85-year-old grandparents had a blast! 「The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!」

We didn’t want a long drive home after dinner and wanted to visit the lovely Beloit Farmers’ Market the next day. This was a comfortable place to retreat and regroup. 「Host did extras including grab bars/mat in shower (I have a slight imbalance prob) and getting us decaf coffee. He met us on arrival and literally walked us throughout. Everything was remodeled and clean as a pin.
