About the property
Pilgrim Cottage is surrounded by rolling countryside and a short distance from the peaceful and quant village centre of Tarvin. This stunning holiday home is the perfect combination of modern chic and period glam through details such as the original, brick fireplace and ceiling beams. The cosy living space provides the perfect place to socialise after a day of exploring, whilst the private wood-fired hot tub offers a relaxing escape. The location is great for days out including a visit to the pretty village of Tarporley, the historic City of Chester and a scenic walk along the Sandstone Trail visiting the famous roman bridges which are a short walk away.
The space
This newly renovated quaint cottage is immaculately designed and replete with luxurious features throughout. Think fresh colour tones, chic soft furnishings and an abundance of natural light.

The ground floor begins with a delightful hallway, complete with rustic stone flooring, calming sage green walls and stylish accessories. Slip off your wellie boots after a scenic walk through the countryside and venture into the gorgeous open-plan living room. Here you will find an original fireplace with cosy wood burner, an inviting plush velvet sofa and a Smart TV, perfectly positioned for socialising or cosy nights in.

The country-style kitchen provides everything you need to self-cater with ease, including an electric induction hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Gather around the four-seater dining table for a delicious home-cooked meal or an evening of card games and chatter.

As you venture upstairs you are greeted by two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom is complete with a luxurious double bed with soft linen sheets, whilst the colour scheme is calming with hints of navy blue throughout. Meanwhile, the second bedroom offers a snug feel and features a cosy double bed, complemented by blush pink accessories.

There is also a shared WC with a shower and fluffy towels on the first floor.

The enclosed garden features an artificial lawn and a sizeable patio. As night falls, grab a blanket and get cosy on the rattan sofas or climb into the wood-fired hot tub and sip a crisp glass of champagne under the stars.
Guest access
There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

Hot tub: Please note, wood-fired hot tubs take between 3-4 hours to heat initially.

The second bedroom and shower room both have sloping ceilings.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
