Very disappointed they would not honor a Mariott gift card. did not receive an invoice when checking out and have not received an email of invoice as promised. Tried calling the hotel directly and the phone numbers listed do not connect with the hotel. Instead go to a service that indicates that the number is not set up to receive "unauthorized" calls. So, how do you call a manager of that Mariott property?

I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff when I attempted to extend my hotel stay. The Asian or Korean-looking woman working at the front desk was extremely rude, passive-aggressive, and unnecessarily difficult to deal with. I was already a paying guest with an existing room, and all I wanted to do was extend my stay. Instead of making the process simple and professional, she made it frustrating and uncomfortable. Her attitude was dismissive, and I felt as though she was intentionally making things harder than they needed to be. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, especially when I’m simply trying to continue my stay. Management should address how guests are treated at the front desk because this kind of customer service leaves a terrible impression.

I arrived before the check in time and planned to finalize my reservation with my bank debit card. However, to my dismay the charges for my stay at the hotel were already taken from the credit card I used to hold my room. When I inquired as to why my credit card had been charged upfront, but other family members registered at the hotel didn’t have to finalize payment until their arrival. I was told by the hotel front desk, that since I didn’t make the hotel reservations directly with Aloft Hotel, Expedia charged my card early. In addition, I was not told about the extra charge that would be taken from the card I used to hold the room, this caused a negative charge on the card I used to hold my room.

What I didn't like was not enough staff to support the amount of people in the lounge bar area for ordering food. Drinks were excellent, bartender give him a 5 star for service. Didn't like manager asked decorations be removed after initially it was ok to bring them. I did find in my room the shower door handle was not firmly tightened. Could be a hazard as they are very heavy glass doors.

La chambre (le lit) n’était pas fait à notre arrivée. Problème avec le contrôleur de l’air climatisé. Il n’y avait pas de manette pour la TV et la TV n’a jamais été fonctionnel pendant 3 jours. J’ai avisé la réception 3 fois et rien n’a été fait. Je suis un voyageur habitué des Aloft et c’est de loin mon expérience la plus décevante!

Rooms were pretty small for the cost. The important things were clean but there could be more care put into house keeping. The AC was struggling to cool. The downstairs bathrooms were either flooded or broken in some way.
