Maybe it was a mistake on my end. I booked the hotel through Expedia with my American Express credit card (I just left my card info. The payment was due at arrival). When I checked in, I gave the front desk the information of my citi credit card.
My American Express was charged twice. I called the hotel, and the hotel told me that I should call American Express. Then I called American Express and made a dispute. Then the second charge came back. However, on the same day, my citi card was charged and the amount was posted.
Anyone else encountered this situation before?
