Memorial Day

The property/landscaping left little to the imagination. The lawn was overgrown, weeds everywhere, shrubbery overgrown. Not a pleasant first impression.While we were there, the door handle to the backyard, fell out into our hand. We struggled to use the backyard to let our dog out, as there was no way to use the door. We kept it locked and used the front yard for the dog.Prior to the handle falling apart, when we were able to go into the backyard the cable wire hung so low that my husband (who is just 6 ft) had to bend down so as not to touch it. There was also a pipe in the backyard that, had my daughter not seen it, could have easily injured someone if they were walking. With the grass being overgrown, made it even more difficult to see.There was also weeks worth of mail left in the mailbox along with several bags of garbage already sitting in the can prior to our use.Overall, our stay wasn't something we'd encourage anyone to relive. It's too bad as this was our first experience with VRBO and we had multiple issues that could have easily been taken care of.
