Great place to stay very close to Chichen Itza. The property is beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of outdoor seating and a large pool. The cottage-style buildings are adorable and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Service staff were excellent, and the spa experience was exceptional. I’d love to stay here again.

The Hacienda has a beautiful property. Staff was incredible and the restaurant excellent. The room was somewhat dated, but the AC worked very well, it was clean and roomy. We loved the huge pool surrounded by palm trees. It was a short ride to the archeological site, and the hacienda was a welcome retreat on a hot day. We had a very positive experience at the Hacienda.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Ideal place for relaxation, great food. The only thing should be improved is the air conditioner. My two units had the same issue, no one could sleep. The rest was perfect.

Wonderful old school hacienda

What a lovely lovely place, it really takes you back to old school colonial architecture and living. The hotel has developed a wonderful eco friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and pool that should be enjoyed. Food was wonderful and so nice to see that they produce as much of their own food as they can and where they’re unable to, they source from the local community. Our only comment would be that if you were staying for more than one night, the beds are small for 2 so as a family it’d be worth considering 2 rooms but it really didn’t detract from our stay.

It was an amazing stay. We arrived late at night and Adrian waited for us, to greet us and gave us a fabulous welcome. He made sure that our stay was unique and personal ! Gave us the proper advice for travelling around and recommended the best dishes where food was concerned ! The room was tastefully decorated and the entire ambiance of the property was absolutely amazing! Definitely it’s a ‘must stay’ place. Beautiful setting and service . The beds are way too soft and old otherwise the parc and garden are absolutely stunning . The service is excellent too . Be careful check your room first thing for insects .

Beautiful oasis of calm!

The grounds of the hotel are really beautiful with abundant bird life. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The food was excellent as was the service. The location very close to Chichen Itza was perfect.

The staff at Hacienda Chichén are simply fantastic. The level of service was outstanding and we feel as though we made new friends. The grounds are impeccable and very quiet and relaxing. The chef prepares wonderful meals that provide many different choices and the food quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend this resort enough and we will look forward to returning to Hacienda Chichén!

It is really lovely. I had stayed there more than 40 years ago and it was lovely then and it hasn't changed. So nice to take my adult kids this time and have them love it, too. Staff is great. Grounds are beautiful. Restaurant setting is perfect. Food could be better but no complaints. It was way better than okay and easy and the service and setting make up for any shortcomings. I have been recommending Hacienda Chichen for years and will continue to do so.
