“The property was at the end of the Homer spit which was really nice. While the view of the mountains were blocked by a stairway, once we stepped outside, the view was perfect. The room was clean and nice size. The bed was comfortable.”

“The rental was great - bright, open and cheery, overlooking a creek with mountains in the distance. The amenities were also nice. Only 15 minutes to the best beach-combing and tide pooling, not to mention the Spit, harbor, wonderful shops and restaurants. There was little water pressure, but it was enough. Unfortunately, they switched us at the last minute to another top floor rental (not the one furnished and situated as pictured when we booked) - AFTER we had unpacked everything into the……

“The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. Inside the cabin all the stairs are very steep and at odd angles. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The views from inside and out are amazing. You feel like you are much farther from the……

“We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”

“We felt like it was false advertising- we thought we had a kitchen so we bought a whole lot of groceries and never used them. We thought we had a bathroom and running hot and cold water. We thought we had a living room to sit and relax, we thought we had a view. The outside was extremely messy and unkept. The shower backed up with sewer and stepped in dog poop on our trail. We would never have chosen this had we known.”
