“We stayed 9 nights at Casa Calderoni (Jan 7-15, 2026) and it was the one bright spot in an otherwise disastrous vacation. My wife became ill and had to spend 6 days at the hospital. Fortunately, the staff (Luis, Miguel, and others) at Casa Calderoni was WONDERFUL. When we had questions, they had answers, when we had problems, they had suggested solutions. We can't say enough good things about the great treatment we received there. ”

“It’s near to the central of the city. It’s safe and convenient to visit the small town. The host is nice and keeps contact with us and meets us upon arrival. ”

“Overall, our 3 week stay at Hotel Nena was excellent. The facility itself is amazing with a wonderful historic ambience incorporated with modern amenities. Staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs and it was nice to have a morning breakfast provided in the onsite restaurant. Wifi was very good. Our arrival was delayed (twice) and both of our calls to Casa Julieta were answered with reassurance the staff would be waiting on us, that they were there to help if we needed it and that they were excited to have us! “The service, the staff, the food, and the architecture/design was all 10/10. It’s on a hill so it has great views of the city. Walking down is a very doable. Just take your time walking up. One of the best stays I’ve had. ”

“La habitación y la ubicación del hotel, así como la atención del personal de recepción fueron excelentes. Lo malo es que el personal del estacionamiento no es muy amable, y tienen una política muy rara donde la única mascota que aceptan son perros, a pesar de que los gatos generalmente son más limpios y tranquilos. Otra cosa que no es tanto responsabilidad del hotel pero que sí les podría sugerir es que insonorizaran mejor sus habitaciones porque el ruido en la calle empieza desde muy temprano……

Public parking near by if you have a car. It’s also quiet. Excellent staff service! ”
