Lovely place

We had a great stay at the Heron Lodge. The property had everything you could’ve asked for and was in a lovely, quiet area of the water park.

Friends get together

Perfect location and lovely house which was well equipped for all our needs. Only one comment, the overhead shower in the ground floor bedroom meant that you’d get your hair wet every shower. A built in hand held attachment would have been great. Many thanks for the cake and wine, we had a great reunion.

Heron Lodge

We were delighted with the lodge for what it offered and was in a great location. Cleanliness was superb and standard of furnishings were high. Unfortunately there was a problem with setting the heating 30degrees in the bedrooms when we arrived, sadly the downstairs bedroom was always cold. It was difficult to get a good temperature after that. The warm water supply was also an issue, only enough warm water for 3 showers the first day and despite putting on boost and the immersion, as advised when we rang, we had periods of no hot water Wednesday night through to Thursday. Not ideal especially with a baby. With resolution of heating and water issues, we would not hesitate recommending the lodge
