"The staff was fantastic. The rooms are all redone including the bathrooms and quite nice. The breakfast is awesome in the morning. I think it’s overpriced but when u go to drop off your student at college and want to be 1 mile from campus they know they’ve got you. So take that with a grain of salt."

"I liked that the property/rooms looked freshly updated and painted. Our room was in good shape and felt very clean. I thought the price was still kind of high for being in an out of the way location and only a couple of blocks away from where homeless people were hanging out. There are no extras like a pool or weight room or breakfast, but it was clean and quiet."

"Spent the weekend as I was checking my son into residence at Oregon State. It's not super close (about 50 minutes to Corvallis) but, I was looking for something quiet and pleasant for a family. The Hillside Deck Cottages definitely fit the bill - clean, quiet and friendly hosts made for a truly lovely stay. The size and shape of the cottages are quite unique but very functional and offer an enjoyable place to relax and socialize both indoors and especially outdoors where there's a propane fire pit and grill. The kitchen is small but has all the necessities including oil, spices, and condiments, which I really appreciate. Marty and Janine were warm and welcoming, giving a tour upon arrival as well as recommendations for places to enjoy around the area. Would be very happy to visit again in the future!"
