"The place is great. It’s clean and cozy and was very friendly and accommodating. The only things I didn’t like was the hot water smelled like sulfur and the bed was way to soft for my liking. Other than those two things it was perfect."
Hot tub, fireplace. Lakefront, with roomy, yet homey ambience! Spring bargains!!
10/10 Excellent
"A well designed, lovingly cared for, and well stocked property. Great condition - from the boats, hot tub, and outdoor gear to the kitchen, bathrooms & laundry room. Up north feel without the long drive. This is a perfect blend of nature and accommodations. Stunning sunrises and sunsets! Both Gail, with advance communication, and Captain Neil, who dropped off the (extra) pontoon rental, were both so kind and helpful. My hubby & 10 yo son's fav things were the boats- pontoon, row boat, paddle boat, and kayaks. My 8 yo daughter's fav was 'everything' - especially looking for shells on the beach. My fav was yoga on the screened in porch, hubby wifey hot tub dates, and family campfires. Taking the kiddos out on their first kayaking adventures, my son rowing me around the lake and my daughter showing me the hot spots for shell hunting. The loft and games area and balcony are great features. Really there are so many places to gather, play, and rest. My hubby is a musician and there is a piano as another reviewer mentioned...a bit out of tune but still so much fun.Well water was great, no problem with multiple people getting ready at once with a shower upstairs and tub downstairs. Wonderful wildlife too - geese and swan families, a daily crane visitor, turtles, minnows and larger fish, crayfish, and a variety of other birds. We love Turtle Point and hope to plan another visit - please, future visitors keep this treasure well cared for so we can all continue to enjoy!"
"The property was absolutely beautiful and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. There was plenty of space for our group and we had a great time. We’ve all stayed at a lot of these types of properties and really appreciate things like the tap specifically for drinking water and quality cooking utensils in the kitchen. We did run into a few issues with things like ants, not having more than one baking sheet for the oven, and amenities like the jacuzzi, cold plunge, and sauna not being cleaned or prepped before arrival. Directions for shocking the jacuzzi were left and video instructions to turn on the fire place were provided, but should be taken care of. Our biggest gripes were the terribly hard and cheap mattresses and the fabric cleaners used—one person had an allergic reaction and another had an asthma attack because of the detergents used. Aside from that, you can tell the host takes care of the property fairly well and being outside is wonderful. And even when it’s raining—which it did most of the time we were there—there’s plenty to do to keep busy and entertained. Also, the bison became the mascot for the weekend lol."
Waterfront lake cottage on gorgeous Clark Lake in Jackson! 4 bedrooms, sleeps 10
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay in Kevin‘s home. The cottage is adorable, very well stocked with everything we could have ever needed, and was perfect for a weekend getaway on the lake. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and took great care of us! Cannot recommend this place enough."
Beautiful lake-access home with boat slip steps away from renowned Clark Lake!
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very clean, comfortable house in good condition. Be aware that the house is not on the lake. When the description says “steps from the lake” it means three houses between you and the lake. I highly suggest bringing bottled water. The owners put a lot of thought into making the home comfortable and beautiful. We didn’t get to enjoy the welcoming back yard bc of weather. Instead, we enjoyed the electric fireplace. Plenty if dining options close by."
