“Garbage can besides the one in the bathroom, more chairs for deck”

“Host was very accommodating, went above and beyond allowing to check in despite a scheduling snafu on my end.Host was very friendly. He operates an ice cream/coffee shop on the property and we loved his early morning, freshly ground and roasted coffee. Room was clean and just as described.”

“This was the perfect cozy getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. McGregor is a cute little river town surrounded by beautiful bluffs. There were several state parks and other cute nearby towns to explore. The Chalet was perfect for us. Jason was easy to reach and quick to respond to messages. ”

“Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.”

“This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. The adjoining dining room has a large table with additional seating and windows lining two walls. And clean! This VRBO was impressively clean! I have to say the jail was a little eery after dark, but……

“We rented the whole house for the weekend. Perfect location for hosting the family and friends of the groom for a nearby wedding. A lot of beds to accommodate everyone. And plenty of open space to gather and have fun. While also plenty of space to have quiet time away from others. Suggest they build out a full bath on the lower level (cell area). Also need more "soft" seats. ”

“My husband and I made a weekend get away and this was the perfect “temporary home”. The main room was so cozy we woke each morning reading our bibles by the windows and watching the sun rise over the water. The wallpaper and look of the whole place was so unique and takes you back in time. We will be back, and next time with the kids!”

“We really enjoyed the open layout & multiple beds to have our annual girls weekend. The large kitchen was nice to not have to eat out every meal. Couldn't find the toaster though, and the filtered water spigot at the sink was leaking into the sink with little water pressure to actually fill a cup. ”

“Such a great place to stay. We had a lot of room, and it's in downtown so we could walk to restaurants and shops. Plus we had a very tasty breakfast! We will plan to use Goldfinch Suites in the future!!”
