Apartment itself seemed nice but the building/area is sketchy and very delayed communication
The instructions to find the property did not really adequately describe how you would need to locate the hidden doorway to the building (do not try any of the street doors, there is an entrance in the alley), and somehow find the rickety elevator while wandering through other apartment's courtyards(?). While we were unloading, there were people screaming at each other and throwing bottles across the street, dog poop smeared on the elevator floor, as well as several people hanging out in the alley where we were unloading and watching every move we made. It made us highly uncomfortable, and considering that we also had dogs with us who would need to be walked at night, we had to find somewhere else to stay as we felt unsafe. Since then, the property manager has NEVER responded to any messages, and even the initial question I sent to them when I booked was only answered after 2 months. The apartment itself seemed pretty nice once we got into it, but we barely spent any time in it as we basically loaded back up and went to a hotel.
