Charming Cabin with Mountain Views on 2 acres

Nice 2 bed 2 bath cabin, beautiful views, sleeps 4, plus recliner, reclining sofa, toddler cot, & infant pack n play. Cabin is located in a quiet subdivision 6 miles from the village of Cloudcroft. There is a large covered deck for grilling, eating, relaxing, watching elk, deer, birds & enjoying the gorgeous views! No steep driveways. The entire living area on second floor with an open floor plan for easy socializing. The kitchen is fully furnished. The bar has seating for 4 and the dinette seats 4. We have a toddler booster seat & step stool available for use. The living room has a recliner, reclining sofa, TV, internet, games & beautiful views through the large windows!
Cabin has new flooring and is newly painted. It is furnished well enough that you just need to bring food, clothes & personal items. The deck has a latch gate for children’s safety. The cabin sits on over an acre with lots of room for kids/adults to play any time of year. In the winter, guests can enjoy snow sleds & tubing on the property (not provided) or you are only 3 miles from Ski Cloudcroft for skiing or tubing. Tubes and saucers are available to rent or buy in the village.
This is a NON SMOKING & NO PET home.
ATVs/UTVs can be driven on the roads of the subdivision or taken to the nearby Lincoln National Forest trails or enjoy some hiking there. Less than 10 minutes from Cloudcroft for dining, shopping, golfing, spa, hiking, playground, ice skating, or skiing. Cabin is located about 45 minutes from Ruidoso for a wide variety of things to enjoy.

Getaway to the mountains!

We had a nice time on our stay in Cloudcroft. The house was just as described and was clean, had easy access, and had all the amenities. We especially liked the quiet neighborhood and the more secluded area. It was hard to head home to the heat of Texas!

Cloudcroft base camp

Stayed here for 4 nights as a base camp to explore the forest on our bikes. Excellent property, clean and stocked with the minimum essentials. Lots of wildlife, open spaces, quiet neighbors and great scenery. This place is a 10/10, will stay again. Thanks yall!

Peaceful retreat

Beautifully kept cabin in quiet neighborhood was just what we needed to get away for a quiet family weekend getaway. Very peaceful to be able to watch the elk and variety of birds from the porches. Trails close by and on the outskirts of town that you didn’t have to worry about traffic. One of the best places that we have stayed.

Wonderful Get Away!!!

The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sittings on the bad deck watching the hummingbirds and elk. The morning we left there was 35-40 elk grazing. Some came right up close to the cabin. We are coming back to stay in this cabin!

Relaxing with Elk and hummingbirds

My family stayed here for a week. We enjoyed the Elk every evening and loved watching the hummingbirds as well. We cooked a lot with a fully stocked kitchen. Close to the village so that was great!

Wonderful getaway

What a wonderful place to get away for Spring break. The cabin was peacefully remote, but close enough to town that we never felt we were too far away. Great sunsets, and lots of wildlife.

Great weekend getaway

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Kitchen has all the supplies needed for any meal. Heater and stove worked well to keep us warm during the snowstorm. Only wish we could find the snow shovel instead of having to shovel the driveway with our sled, ha.

Cute, clean cabin. Closer to neighbors than expected but no big deal. We were lucky to have tons of snow for our daughter to play in. Overall we had a good stay.

Great mattress! What brand?

The place was everything we hoped it would be. Spectacular part of the country. The turkey hunting was tough as there were way more other hunters than expected. More than in New York state believe it or not. Could you please email the mattress brand in the main bedroom? I never slept in a more comfortable bed.

The views from the 2 porches were beautiful. I enjoyed the wood burning stove. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We would love to stay here again.

Great time in the snow

Everything was great on this, our second visit for us. They had just gotten about 8" of snow, so our boys were able to tube and sled at the property and then we went to Ski Cloudcroft and spent a day doing ski lessons for the boys and my wife and I skied the mountain. The mountain was nice with the fresh snow, but the greens were a little tight for me to allow a first timer to go down. I will say I am thankful we went ahead and purchased a set of snow chains. With out them or 4 wheel drive we would not have been able to get in to the subdivision to the cabin. Main highway and town roads were fine. So if there is a chance of snow I would definatley recommend the purchase ahead of time. Thanks again for the great family memories.
