The room was very nice. Only downside was the bathroom had a slight mildew odor. We kept the bathroom fan on and that seemed to help. Love the location and most of the staff was respectful and responsive.

The hotel has a unique old charm however the front desk staff was rude and not willing to be helpful. Additionally the pool and hot tub were out of order. When asked about plastic utensils, we were told to go to dollar general and buy some as they don’t have anything plastic. The hot water in the room was just above lukewarm. AC filters were so clogged, it significantly slowed any cool air coming in. No elevator and we were placed on the third floor. This hotel has a lot of history and it is cute the way it’s decorated and the bed was comfortable however some of the other negatives outweighed the positives. It was unfortunate because it is located in an awesome area in the mountains.
