Your nearest supermarket is a 5-minute walk, and there’s a couple of pubs on your doorstep serving great food and local cask ales. The main town centre is also easily reached on foot. Cockermouth is a thriving market town full of hidden surprises at every turn, and boasts a great selection of pubs, quaint restaurants, micro-breweries, local craft shops, independent coffee houses, delicatessens, speciality shops and of course, well known retailers and branded stores too. If you like culture, Kirkgate Arts shows movies, arts and drama. Fancy a swim? The leisure centre is also nearby as well as local cycle hire.
