Great minimalist experience
The apartment is clean and well-furnished, but very minimalist. Nothing you don't need. If you're looking for the little extras, look elsewhere. The location really couldn't be better. Close to the train station, a few meters from Commerce Square and Rua Ferreigas Borges. The highlights and must-do's are all very close.

Location!!
If you are looking for the perfect location to wander the streets of historic Coimbra, this is your spot. Restaurants and shops literally around the corner. The management responded quickly to all questions and concerns.

Wonderful stay
Susie was an excellent host, very communicative and helpful and provided an extra blanket and pillows when I requested.
The apartment is spacious - plenty of room for one or two people - and fairly quiet with just the occasional people walking past at night time. As the flat is in the old town the location is wonderful although it doesn't get much natural light (the streets are narrow and this apartment is on the first floor up) so it was great for working from home (go to casa da escrita for that!) but would be excellent in the summer as I'm sure the place would stay nice and cool and if you're out all day it won't matter at all. It's not well suited to winter - there was one particularly cold week and just one radiator wasn't enough but perhaps with an extra rug it would make the apartment a bit cosier.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay even though I had to cut it short because of COVID-related travel reasons. A great place to stay for long or short-term.
