"Booked this last minute, hotel itself and room were great. The main gripe I had was how scandalous it is to charge almost £10 for parking per day on top of the room fee- it’s off a busy A road, it’s not in a town centre. Will make sure to read the fine print beforehand, wouldn’t book again on this basis."

"Lovely stay. Gorgeous air-conditioned hotel in crazy UK temperatures! Comfy beds, clean rooms, really quiet - well insulated so no noise from people in corridors or slamming doors, blissful! Good shower. Great pool that didn't require booking or limited slots. Really nice bar and restaurant with excellent service and tasty food. Thank you for our stay - we'll be back."

"This was our second stay at Wivenhoe House Hotel and we will definitely hope to stay again. The first time we stayed in the main house, and the second time in the new extension, and both times the rooms were fantastic, every amenity supplied and excellent service from the staff in both housekeeping and the restaurant. Only an overnight stay but so relaxing, thank you."
