"This was by far one of the quieter and best places we have ever stayed. You feel like you’re in a different part of the world.
Love the rooms with great balcony and the biggest tub ever!! Never ran out of hot water !! Coffee in room was awesome and the restaurant was amazing!!
Front desk staff of Kasey and Amy were incredible and Emma in restaurant as well!!!"
"The hotel states they have ac in the rooms but they don’t. It’s a fan but at least the windows are able to be opened to get some cool air into the room"
"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Historic Plaza Hotel immensely. First, the receiving staff greeted us with a smile and really made us feel at home. Check-in was quick and easy. Next, the spacious room was immaculate (in every sense of the word) and well-decorated with objects that reflected the history and culture of the area. As to the latter, similar themes abound throughout the hotel corridors, not just in the room. There were only two items, however, that we were not too pleased with: (1) the noisy AC noisy (although it did provide the right amount of cooling to the room) and (2) the tiny television with barely audible audio (even after cranking the volume up), which was made worse whenever the AC kicked in. Other than these two "negatives" (which, in all honesty, can be overlooked), all else (i.e., amenities, gift shop, bar, restaurant, all other staff, etc.) was fantastic. For those who enjoy comfort and a certain historical elegance to a hotel, we both would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely visit again."
"A quintessential staple for a perfect summer camp adobe bungalow vibe. We stay every summer and catch a concert at the park, it's so close to walk to!. We take in a movie at the retro movie theater and we just relax under the trees and play horseshoes and corn hole. The staff is always working hard to make sure everything easy and relaxed. El Pueblo is everything that's right in this world!"
"We really enjoyed the property. It was historic and unique. The rooms had plentiful space, with a partition and a small dining table. The on site restaurant had excellent food and the building itself was unique and historic. Our only complaint was that the mattresses were so soft that we got back and hip pain from sleeping."
