Ok place big enough for the family.

This place worked well for our family. However the fine details are a bit lacking.

Plenty of sleeping and outdoor seating.

The house is located 10 miles from St. Joseph shopping and silver beach, carousel, and shopping. It is only 1 mile from the roadside park beach. Nice fenced in yard with a fire pit, lots of seating, gas grill, and room for activities. Interior could use some updates however we enjoyed our stay at the house. I would stay again if the fees weren’t so high. Paid more in fees than the total rental cost. The owner and grounds keeper were all very friendly and helpful.

Lots of nice gathering space

Our 7-member 3-generation family group enjoyed this house a lot. Plenty of private sleeping space, and great spaces for shared meals, game nights, and even an ongoing jigsaw puzzle. The living room was also great for reading, knitting, and quiet conversation.

Great house for a golf trip

Great house for 8 guys on a golf trip! Good courses near by. Rather close to everything but by car. Fenced in and good sized backyard- overlooking the pond that has swans living on it.

Nice and quiet

The house was a stated in the description. The area is very quiet and peaceful, however unless you plan to spend a lot of time at the beach there isn't a whole lot to do in the area

We had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean and well-stocked with paper products and kitchen needs. We had 15 people (8 adults, 5 kids under 6 yrs and 2 tweens) and we never felt like we were crowded or overwhelmed with noise. There are some spots in the home that could use some updating and repair, but nothing that affected our stay. Vacasa was very attentive when we contacted them to let them know the complimentary firewood promised wasn’t supplied, and again when we left a bag of dirty clothes behind. They were so accommodating! We enjoyed it so much we hope to go back next year!

Needs some repairs. Basement has a terrible odor as well as porch to patio. Kitchen bathroom sink constantly drips. As well as basement sink. Queen Mattress needs replacement. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Huge yard. Great location. Short drive to beach, entertainment and restaurants.

Disappointed

We arrived very excited based on the pictures online for the rental. The house itself was clean as far as the outward esthetics, clean kitchen, bedrooms with fresh sheets, pillows, and blankets, the carpet was swept, and the bathroom was clean with lots of fresh towels and wash cloths. Where we found immediate disappointment was when you walked in the door it was an instant smell of a musty, damp, earthy smell. It was not shared on the listing that one bedroom was in the basement, which was not a problem until down there. The basement smelled of mold, instantly, once you went down the stairs. The bedroom had a “creepy vibe” and upon further inspection the bed had mouse poop on it in the corner of the boxspring which was showing from sheets being put on. There could have been more on the bed but the comforter was black, so it's hard to say if there was more. The laundry room had black mold in the corner on the floor/wall and along the floor on other walls as well. The ceiling had exposed wiring in the laundry room and the stairs also had mouse poop on them as well. The bedrooms upstairs had broken blinds, and some missing blinds on windows in the kitchen and bedroom. We had to place blankets over a few of the windows to add privacy and block out the light for children to sleep.A bird had made its nest on the deck outdoor light and anytime you went out it attacked you, but also pieces of the soffit were coming off outside as well. The ceiling fan did not work in the living roo
