Wonderful get away

Amazing home and beautiful property right on Lake Michigan. We didn't need to bring any of the usual items such as toilet paper, paper towel and trash bags, as they were plenty of each. Kitchens were well equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware and utensils. Only a few minor problems. We could not get the codes to work for check-in, but was resolved with a couple of calls to Vacasa. There was a dirty towel in one of the bathrooms and a dirty pot on the stove in the kitchen. We also had a problem with the 2nd floor bathroom sink, which became stopped up and had to be plunged. Otherwise, the house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of seating in the main areas. Beds were comfortable. We are looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved the place. The backyard was beautiful, the views were beautiful and the house was beautiful. There was a private beach, which was nice to have. The host was also very responsive. It was exactly what we were looking for and I would stay again.

This house is gorgeous. Some of the best stargazing we have had in years. We also had a bald eagle rest in a tree just south of the property. You rent this property for the views. With that said it had its issues. The WiFi, the leaking air conditioner and the bed frame breaking in the wee hours of the night. I wish it was as perfect as the view. Would we rest this house again? I think we would.

Uninhabitable Stay – Flooding, Mold, and No ResolutionWe were extremely disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, we discovered that the entire lower level was flooded, making it completely unusable. The odor was overwhelming.We immediately contacted the owner…While the owner initially apologized and promised additional compensation, neither the owner nor the management team ever followed through. No real solution was provided, and we were left to deal with an unsafe, unhealthy environment on our own.This property was not as described and should not be rented until the flooding and mold issues are fully repaired and verified safe. Very disappointing experience and poor handling by both the owner and management company
