Construction nearby
It was only a night stay. The view from the room was poor due to nearby construction. The suite was alright but the strong smell was cigarette made us sick. I thought it was supposed to be the non smoking floor. Issue wasn’t well handled by the staff. Otherwise room quality was good.

優越的地點 豐富的早餐
飯店就在舊荷蘭醫院旁,Galle face green也在步行範圍內。早餐非常多元美味、無可挑剔。客房不算特別寬敞,但是清潔舒適。免費WiFi服務,傳輸速度不是很理想。我們透過Hotels.com訂房,事前有要求兩間聯通房或相鄰房間,但是,飯店並未保留。此外,晚間6點左右抵達飯店前,信用卡已被飯店扣款,有點莫名奇妙。

Nice hotel
Went there last week for a very short trip . Originally booked for two nights but ended up spending three nights . - It's a nice clean hotel - nice decor, comfy bed - had some issue in the toilet with hand shower. Engineer came n fixed it but took a while for him to come - The pool bar is under stuffed, had to wait for 15 minutes just to get hold of some one to bring us he menu - Amazing buffet breakfast , lunch and dinner - Foods at the kings bar/restaurant was very poor - Twin sharing room but amenities weren't sufficient for two

facility is gorgeous , service is below standard
Room is spacious as they upgraded me to a luxury room, but there is a strong smell form carpet. I stayed in 7th floor, and can hear the music from the party @ ground floor, while i will play my own music in room, so it's not very annoying and music stops by 12midnight service is poor. i checked in by 10pm, they took 15 mins to do the check in. no smiling from all the staffs and no one helps to pick my luggage to room. Same fr check out, i need to pick my luggage from lobby to car. Lifts is slow. Only 2 lifts fr such a big hotel, it's a must to wait fr 5 mins each time and already full in the lifts. breakfast is okay, lots of variety and i taste okay.

The worst service in 5 STAR hotel
We choice this hotel since it is with high rating here, but It is a very bad experience during my one day stay. 1. We have to carry our own luggage to our room, even after our check in, the reception took us to our room, but she is just watching, she didn't help us on the luggage. then when we arrive the room, there is one piece of paper about announcement on the floor, she took that paper and just give it to us. It would be nice that she can let us know what is that announcement about. 2. When we arrive the aisle of our room, there is one man (i think that he is living here) he sit in front of the door and taking loudly, it makes us scary. At least the hotel staff should help to handle it. 3. The last one, when we arrived our room, the hotel staff open our door without our permission even though he knows we are in the room.... I think this hotel need to re-educated their staff to know how to provide better service to customers.

绝佳的地点
床垫有点太软了。其他的都非常好!下午茶屋虽然有点吵杂,但定制的三文治和饮料,非常棒!

服務很好,交通也方便
房子的尾端面向海洋,游泳池是露天的,但靠進馬路,可戲水但不建議游泳.有時鳥兒會飛過來喝水,但不知是否會下??.因此不建議游泳. 餐廳靠進泳池且面向海洋,也可看到colombo港口,風景相當不錯.服務人員態度熱心程序均相當好,當然要建議給點小費回饋一下.

Great location for being in the capital but the rooms were small and the suite was not in a 5 star condition. Views are of rooftops or buildings. Very noisy with music playing till 10.30pm at the honey club. Great selection for breakfast. They didn’t provide hand wash/soap in the room despite asking several times. Basic lack of understanding made it difficult.

Very tired hotel that needs more, better traistaff
The hotel is tired and not well staffed to make it run well The room service food was inedible; not through spice or flavouring but preparation. The staff at the pool were absent. The gym staff were horrendous and I found one drinking wine from a bottle in the cupboard while I was on the treadmill.

I stayed at the Kingsbury for one night and it was a great experience. Check-in was speedy and the staff were informative and kind. My favorite experience was dining in at the Ocean seafood restaurant. The food and cocktails were made with love. Will be back soon

Perfekte Lage. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Zimmer alles was man braucht. Bin nicht Liebhaber von Teppichen in tropischem Gebiet. Freundliches Personal. Wohnte oft hier, als es noch ein Intercontinental Hotel war. Soweit das Positive. Musste beim Check-in über 1,5 Std. warten, da meine frühzeitig gemachte und bezahlte Reservation nicht auffindbar war. Jegliche Konsumationen musste ich sogleich bezahlen. Deshalb Konsumationen nur auswärts. Wohnte Poolseitig. Absolute Katastrophe. Fenster sind nicht schallgedämpft. Bis vor Mitternacht jeden Abend Diskoparty am Pool. Im Zimmer 65 Dezibel gemessen. Lesen, geschweige denn schlafen, vergiss es. Ohne Lärm empfehlenswert. Gibt hervorragende Alternativen in CMB.

Pretentious stuffy hotel with high security
A luxury hotel it may be, but a comfortable and relaxing place to stay it is not. The hotel swarms with over officious staff who follow your every move. We arrived, well dressed with small rucksacks , as our luggage was being forwarded. Check in took 25 minutes as desk staff, answered phone and attended other guests whilst booking us in. We were approached by staff twice on way to our room, enquiring if they could ' help', it felt like they were checking on us! We went to sit by the pool, and were questioned by three different members of staff as to if we were guests, and even returned to check our room number! Security is tight & guests are certainly under observation. Perhaps this is to be expexpected as the hotel appears to accommodate the 'bling and business' class. Definitely not a place to relax in.

Excellent service
I had a wonderful stay in Kingsbury Colombo Hotel. This is a five star property & truly lives upto its name. The rooms are spacious with nice view of the cityscape & the sea. Room service is amazing with really cordial hotel staffs. House keeping did wonderful job. In room dining menu should have bit more variety & check out took longer than expected. Apart from these 2 points rest everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
