Beira lake is situated just 1km away from the heart of Colombo. It is such a beautiful place due to the Gangaramaya temple and it's wildlife both. This pelican is trying to catch something to eat. It is really fun to have a close look at these birds.

We had a deluxe sea view room and it was really nice. For a longer stay, there was limited space to unpack and store clothes but the room was good. The reception staff were very good but the service in the bars and restaurants was poor. You could wait a half hour to even order a drink and wait another ...

Very nice hotel. Well appointed rooms. Breakfast was great and the staff helpful. The TV in the room needs a bit of improvement though. The location of the hotel is ok. Not a great deal of eateries nearby. The pool and restaurant on the top floor were great.
