Colorado Weekend Visit

I stayed in the property the weekend that my daughter got married. The property was gem that I was glad to find. It was in a great location and close to many things. The property was clean and very cozy. The management was responsive and very professional. I appreciate that the pictures and details of the house were as described. The next time I visit the springs, I plan to stay at the property.

Unique Spot, Great Communication!

Really enjoyed this unique property, and the communication was great. The arcade and outside area were awesome for our family. If there is anything I wish I had known at all, it's that the floors creak a bit and there are other units connected. Our kids woke up early, and I think we disturbed our neighbors despite our very best efforts to stay quiet, which can be stressful as parents when trying to relax. Everyone was very accommodating though - just something to think about depending on where you're coming from and if you have small kids in your party.

Would stay again!

Easy keypad entry to a home away from home. Plenty of space, decorated nice, comfy beds, wonderful linens. Nice enclosed private yard- lawn chairs and propane fire pit. I would stay again in a heartbeat if in area.❤️

Could have been incredible- but was not.

So it’s Christmas Day. We leave from Oklahoma. Communication is great in the way up, host lets us know we can check in at 4 pm and sends the website with all information. I let them know we will be there@ 9:30 pm. Everything so far is good.We walk in the door and that’s where this goes south. See, it looks really cute but I see pillows on the floor. I tell my kids to wait and as I go in yelling “is anyone here” I’m seeing trash overflow, stove is filthy with food, rooms have sheets with stains/hair ect on them-not made, bathroom toilet isn’t flushed, hair in the shower, blood on the bathroom wall, fake eyelash on the towel holder..gross everywhere. I immediately reach out - to which the host says I can find another place to stay. So..let’s remember it’s Christmas. I have 4 kids with me and a tired husband…and there is no rooms in the inn..I checked VRBO again. I spend the next 3 hours texting and calling- host says they can’t find anyone to come over and clean because it’s Christmas Day and 9:30 pm…really- you said it was ready at 4 pm. So I (momma) am cleaning this place. Washing sheets, spraying beds, wiping counters..put kids in bed @ 11:30 pm. Not with comforters, because they aren’t dry yet. Host says they can clean tomorrow (26th)- well I just had to clean the place and our gifts are here now. They ask me how to make it better- full refund. They say no. They finally refund the cleaning fee & 1 night - that’s it. For this Christmas fiasco.do NOT stay.here.

Perfect Property for My Memorial Hospital Surgery

The property was clean and well stocked for our intended stay. I only spent two nights there before entering Memorial Hospital for heart bypass surgery. The main purpose of this rental was as a place for my brother and wife to stay while I was in the hospital that was close to the hospital and the two bedrooms worked well for their needs. Only two minor and one major issue arose during the rental: One minor issue was one of the robe hooks on the bathroom wall fell off and needed a special Allen wrench to re-attach it (which the owner couldn't find.) My brother found a cheap set of wrenches at Walmart and repaired that himself. The other minor issue was the slipperiness of the tile shower floor for my elderly wife. My brother bought a shower floor mat at Walmart to solve that issue and he left it there for other tenants to use, if needed. I had brought along suction cup safety grab bars to use in the shower, but they wouldn't work on the rectangular subway tiles because the grout lines were closer together than the 3-inch diameter suction cups. The major problem I encountered was that I needed another day or two added onto our rental period because of my extended hospital stay, but neither the owner nor I could figure out how to do that either online or by phone (no one ever answered the VRBO phones). Because of that, I can't recommend VRBO for any future rental needs.

Better than the Broadmoor!

Our recent stay in Colorado Springs was perfect because of where we stayed! This house was darling and had everything and more than what we needed. Kaitlyn was so kind and easy to work with. The house was INCREDIBLY clean and well taken care of. It had a great location and was easy to find and get to. There was attention to every detail. We will definitely stay here again!
