“Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day”

“Clean room, very helpful attentive staff. The amenities were those expected of a b&b. Our only qualms about our stay was there was no offer of remuneration re: the boiler having broken down.”

“A really pleasant stay overall. The room was generously sized, clean and well presented, and breakfast was a good spread to set you up for the day. Finding the entrance on arrival was a little tricky, though that's more a familiarity thing than a reflection on the place itself. Would happily return and recommend.”

“I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain……

“Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely. ”

“The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still……

“Nice small cosy room that was toasty warm. Only marked it down as the milk in the little pots was just a solid mass of gloop so could not make a drink. A note on the wall advised that milk was available downstairs in the bar, which is no good if you make a first brew after the place is closed. ”

“This is a very well presented, clean, comfortable and roomy property. Comfy bed, good size TV and great shower too. Big supermarkets are only about 1.5 miles away and a restaurant very close by. Parking is right outside. The host had put the heating and lights on for my arrival which was great. Also a selection of tea and coffee was available too. Would recommend.”
