Beautiful home and large space for events ‘

I truly had an amazing experience with at the resort. My wedding reception went well, there was enough space for my guest in and outside of the house. Chun was quick to respond to any preoccupations I had. I enjoyed my stay !

Backyard Wedding

My family and I very much enjoyed the beautiful backyard wedding we put together for my mother, the large trees that wrap around the property shaded the afternoon beautifully. Chun was very responsive and accommodating to our needs.

A Rather Disappointing Stay

Please be cautious when booking this “resort.” The photos are deceiving, as it looks well kept and clean. Our stay was quite the opposite. We rented this place for the weekend for my daughter's elopement, in order to have friends and family celebrate with us. When we arrived we were greeted at the door with a sign stating how clean the resort was supposed to be. We quickly found out that the place had not been thoroughly cleaned between guests. There was toothpaste in the bottom of both sinks, used bar soap with hair on it in the shower. The place had not been deep cleaned in what looked like a long time. While unpacking we found a dried up cupcake in one of the master suites bedside tables. In one of the guest rooms there was graffiti as well as racial hate written in the closet. Besides the house being dirty, the extra event room disconnected from the house smelled of mildew and must. The owner knew we were there for an outdoor wedding, yet the yard had not been mowed in what seemed like a couple of weeks. All of the outdoor furniture needed cleaning before we could use any of it. In order for us to even use this space we had to clean the outdoor event barn, as well as the outhouse ourselves. The owner did come and mow the day before the event and finally hired an actual cleaning company to come clean the day before the event, but all of these things need to be done before guests arrive. It was extremely inconvenient having people in and around the place while we were there. All privacy was out the window as the owner would drive by and stop and take pictures as we were setting up for our event. This was a disappointing stay, and I would never recommend anyone else to stay or have an event here.

Very nice place but very rude neighbors

This place was very nice. We had my wedding ceremony and reception here. I just wish they would have mowed the grass before hand and taken care of the hundreds of ant piles. The neighbors were very rude. At 6pm a neighbor came by yelling at us about the noise and I my self even walked to the road and the noise was not loud at all. Especially not loud enough for neighbors to be rude and complain.

Has a lot of amenities.

The property owner was very great with communicating and answering questions for our group. The cleanliness was poor, there was a used bar of soap in the bathrooms to wash our hands after we use the restroom, which is odd most houses have brand new bars of soap. There was dirty dishes in the cupboards. The dish sponge looks like it’s been used for the last year so we went out and bought a new one. There was a huge hair ball in the guest bathroom. The backyard was nice and big! I’m sure it is beautiful in the spring. The extra house/room was huge and fit all of our boys, we appreciated the air mattress, we only used one but there were four I believe. The neighborhood is quiet which was a plus but what I will say is if you are women traveling alone this might not be the place to stay and also if you have a diverse group it might not be in the best area. We have all shades on our National Team, when three were playing basketball the neighbor across the way walked up to the gate and just stared at all of them. We also encountered the neighbor across the way on the right who was taunting us, we were very frightened our last night so much we maybe all of the boys sleep in the house. That neighbor drove a truck and he would pull up in the middle of the street get out and stare at us, he would also drive into his driveway then back up 5-6 times and when he’d drive past he would go slow and started at us. The last night we were there he sat at the stop sign for about 3 mins then drove by and my husband asked if there was a problem and he did the noise with his truck and the stoped and stares at us then backed into our driveway since we didn’t close the gates. All in all it was an ok stay, I’m huge with cleanliness and it just wasn’t there for me. We appreciate the stay!!!

A perfect getaway place for big familys with a hospitable host

I can’t describe how amazing this place is! This was one of my best Airbnb experiences – Chun is an extremely hospitable and thoughtful host. Looking for extra toiletries, blankets, masks, or snacks? The host appeared to anticipate every possible need. The home is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and comfortable with amazing outdoor space and beautiful views. It is rare to find in the Woodlands. Close to everything but you can get away from the busy areas. The place is exactly as pictured and described - modern stay with country flair. There were many wild birds and flowers. We were greeted by a family of deer making our trip even more perfect! We felt peaceful sitting outside in the morning and around the campfire at night. We also enjoyed the amazing outdoor movie night (the host prepared all we need) and excellent air conditioning. The rocking chairs and swinging bench are fun and relaxing. Zipline and volleyball made kids crazy. This is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Everything is just spacious. We had 10 ppl, but this property has enough space for a larger group, even to host a small wedding. The property sets up many supplies for big parties, like several canopies, many tables and chairs, BBQ grills, fire pits, party supplies, games, sports, etc. Everyone from toddlers to seniors can find their favorite sections! I personally enjoyed the music on the sound system and the dancing ball lights shining the event venue and the gorgeous hand-made feast table! 10/10 would stay again to enjoy the pool at summer and would recommend to all our friends!
