「This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.」

「Lovely tranquil location amidst countryside, easy drive to nearby places of interest. Dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and cosy living room and bedroom with all amenities to make this a great home from home stay for a couple of days. 「The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. 」

「Property was brilliant area excellent as I know it well being from Walker originally.Could not fault the cottage apart from the obviously inflated price for Sam Fender concert. As a Geordie this didn't go down too well. A must if you are a visitor to the area as it is set in an idyllic and central area for almost everything worth visiting in Newcastle area and beyond.」

「Our stay over Christmas in the beautiful Kestral cottage was superb.
Jean and Amy made us feel very welcome and went 'above & beyond' to make our stay perfect.
The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and was spotlessly clean.
We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a quiet break in County Durham.

「This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.」

「We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. 「Great family property with everything that was needed.Plenty to keep two young kids entertained and space for the dogs to run around in safety.The outdoor kitchen was fantastic and we used this more than the one downstairs (via a spiral staircase).The automatic lights were a bit random, especially in the lounge. We couldn’t find a way to turn them off completely.」

"We arrived in the hotel early and left our luggages to the hotel staff. When we got back our luggage in the evening, one of the suitcases was apparently damaged. The staff tried to fixed it twice but failed. I was promised to be given at least a letter confirming the damage so that I could send it our insurer, and that the hotel would give us membership points as a compensation. The manager also said he would check the cctv and come back to us.
However, nothing happened until we chased for an update a few days after our check-out. And they said they would check the cctv almost after a week has passed. Then our case was transferred to another manager, who then rejected all the promises given to us earlier. We just asked for a letter.
The fact is that I handed over a suitcase in working condition to the hotel staff, and was returned with a damaged suitcase.
The series of failed promises show how the hotel management treat their clients. I don't think I would stay with them anymore."
