"We enjoyed our four-night stay at this quaint cottage. It was in a great location, in a quiet street, and an easy stroll to pubs and restaurants – as well as The Convent and Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens. The hosts, Daylesford Country Retreats, were very easy to communicate with and the instructions for getting into the property were very easy to follow. The cottage was left very clean, with a welcoming bottle of wine on the table, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of wood to burn in the fireplace for at least a few hours each evening. We loved sitting in the cosy loungeroom in front of the wood fire, after walking home from dinners or a drink out. The online photos accurately portrayed the cottage, apart from the fireplace in the bathroom where there was a sign saying please do not use."

"We had everything we needed, but the entrance to the apartment was uninviting. There was a mop and bucket drying at our door. The gardens were unattended and there was bird poos and weathered furniture in the entrance. Something that could easily be fixed."

"Staff were very friendly and not arrogant at all. Very down to earth which we enjoyed and felt very welcome. Room was very big and not felt crowded. Shower was a double in a renovated modern bathroom. There were tables and chairs on the balcony up stairs that we could sit and watch the world go by. Meals were a good size and delicious. Car parking at rear too. Tables and chairs with an umbrella outdoor seating were popular. In the heart of the Daylesford township making it an easy access to all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Highly recommend."
