The log cabin was very nice and comfortable. The owner was gracious and made a great breakfast. The grounds were really nice and lush.

If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Phone service is iffy until you get to the road (1/3 mile away) but there is host supplied internet for phones, etc. Our host, Dave, is very personable-- super guy. We stayed there while doing a tour of Tennessee state parks and this B and B is conveniently located for that.

Secluded country charm

Country, nature, secluded, charming, comfortable, cozy, private. Dave-our host-was personable and fed us a delicious and hearty breakfast. The weather was so nice that we ate outside and watched the sun rise over the trees. We wanted for nothing.

The property is BEAUTIFUL and just what we needed for a quiet, relaxing weekend. The old home is amazing with a rustic charm and huge porch to sit and enjoy the woods. We loved every minute of our stay at Butterfly Hollow. Dave is a wonderful host who shares stories and brings a laugh to the breakfast table. He makes you feel like you’ve joined the family! We’ll be back for sure!

It was a quaint little B&B, beautiful and quiet. I loved the setting, and the host was very accommodating and friendly. It rained both days, so I’d love to return in the spring sometime to see everything in bloom…and the butterflies, of course!
