「We stayed for 3 nights. 3 adults and 1 older teen plus our dog. Checked all the boxes for what we wanted. Enough room. Quiet. Grassy area for our dog. Well equipped kitchen. 10 minute walk or short drive to Rathtrevor Beach. The mattresses were on the firmer side and the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable (probably fine for younger kids). Other than this, we really enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub are very nice and well maintained.」

「We had a marvellous time in this cute little cabin by the ocean. A daily swim, coffee on the beach and walks down by the shore became an easy routine. This place was a perfect get away for my family who loved spending time together either inside the cabin, or outside on the larger deck. Will be rebooking this place again sometime in the near future.」

「Spotlessly clean and well decorated home in Parksville. Would be great in the summer as it’s within walking to the city beach but on a side street, away from the summer traffic. Good local restaurants are nearby along with three grocery stores in case you want to take advantage of the full kitchen in the unit. Doris and Rick were welcoming hosts and I had zero issues during my stay. The pictures are exactly what you get. I’ll definitely be booking again when I need a place to stay in Parksville.」

「Very happy with our stay here. The owner communication was great. The master bedroom is a nice size with a king size bed I believe. The two single beds upstairs are more suitable for children as they are shorter. Upstairs is a very nice area as there is another tv and another bathroom. Plus we used the fold down couch in the living room as my husband seems sto snore on vacation.lol. We had great weather for our 4 nights. We enjoyed walking to mini golf and having an ice cream. Only 5 min or less...

「The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. 「I’ll start by saying that the apartment was immaculately clean. I really appreciate the no frills/down to earth approach. I’ve largely avoided these types of rentals in favour of hotels in recent years given the long lists of fussy rules some owners have that make the stay feel like an imposition rather than a business transaction.
