It was a boutique hotel. Train themed. Very authentically decorated. The staff was wonderful. Friendly, helpful…. They offered complimentary bagels and muffins and cereal along with coffee, tea, milk, juice and a nice choice of snacks. Very relaxed atmosphere. Made us feel right at home. I would recommend to anybody ne. Also plenty of parking. Within walking distance of main attractions, shops, and restaurants.

Very nice hotel, breakfast was just bagels and cereal and it would’ve been nice to see the fire pit in use since the weather had been wonderful, but the staff was nice and the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was pretty good except the comforter on the bed had some spots on it but compared to some other local places we’ve stayed, this was the nicest!

The property was perfectly located, and within walking distance, to downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that our stay was only for one night. We will definitely book there again.

We stayed in the Railroad Inn for one night last August and two nights this August, and are impressed with the clean room, helpful staff, breakfast cereals, and ample parking. Best of all is the location, a short walk from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We strongly recommend the Railroad Inn in Cooperstown, NY.

The hotel was in a good location. It was close to Baseball Hall of Fame and also near the Cooperstown Dream park Our grandson was playing there so that was important. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Desk staff were very friendly.

Don’t expect a quaint inn like the name suggests. It’s only a bit nicer than a Motel 6, but clean and fine for a night or 2 as long as you’re out and about most of the time and just come here to sleep.
