"The rooms are amazing. Spacious and clean, the cleaning staff are tremendous. Also, the chefs from the grill, especially Hani- they are world class! Most of the staff is excellent. However, the front desk seem very inexperienced and untrained. They are always confused and overwhelmed. The bartenders are so good!"

"We are in the hotel for many years every Xmas. It always welcoming on a good level. Despite some typical Egyptian quirks, the area still boasts charm and natural beauty. Don't forget the windless bay of Ras Um El Sid (Fanar) which is vital in winter. Big sandy beach is also rare in the area."

The location is beautiful with incredible views of the Red Sea, and the snorkeling right off the beach was one of the highlights of our entire Egypt trip. "The food was terrible and unsatisfying; it was reheated, not fresh. There was in my room only one tea bag, sugar, and hand soap. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or any other toiletries. I called reception to ask for some hot drinks, like a packet of Nescafe, but no one brought anything. I won't be coming again."

"The value you get for the price is great but you don’t get internet in the rooms; you get it only in the lobby. Also, there is no a/c in the lobby but you get it in your room. You do get free breakfast and staff is helpful. Overall the price is great."
