There were a few things that were disappointing with this apartment. The Expedia booking confirmation said that the apartment would email us within two days with further information, and they never did, so we had to telephone them. The apartment said they’d contact us two days before we arrived with parking details, and they never did, so we had to contact them again. We arrived to find that we weren’t staying in the lovely building in the photos, but in an apartment on another side of the square. There were two balconies from the lounge looking out onto the square and one set of doors couldn’t be opened. The shower flooded the bathroom so much that it’s clearly damaged the door frame and the wood flooring in the hall - and we had to mop up water every time we showered. The rear bedroom window looks directly into the utility room which was unsightly and dark. There were splashes on the wall in the kitchen. There were areas where the paint had chipped, and in the lounge areas that had been missed.
However, there were some good things about the apartment. When we did contact them, the people were very friendly and helpful. The apartment had a nice view - the building in the photos! It was a good location - 10 mins walk from the centre. The lounge and main bedroom were very comfortable and nicely decorated (apart from the missing paintwork). And the wallpaper in the hall is fab.
