Villa Panoramic

A private luxurious villa in Corfu, with a private swimming pool, parking, garden and panoramic view to the sea. Ideal for family holiday or, generally, for people who seek to rest and relax!
The luxurious Villa Panoramic is located at the south west side of Corfu island, 22km away from the city of Corfu and the airport, and only 700m from the magnificent sandy beach of Paramonas. At a 2km distance from the villa is the beautiful and picturesque village of Aghios Mattheos, in which you can find 2 super markets, a butcher’s, a post office, some restaurants / taverns and also some cafeterias at the village’s central road. In the Paramonas region, there is a mini-market just 100m away from the villa. You can find four or five restaurants and tavernas on the beach where you can taste fresh fish and traditional local cuisine. Finally, apart from the Paramonas beach, various other beautiful and clean beaches lie close to the villa, such as Kanouli, Prassoudi, Skidi.


At a distance of approximately 20 km from the town of Corfu, in the south-western part of the island, lies the area of Agios Mattheos with the village of the same name. This is an area surrounded by olive groves. The village of Agios Mattheos is situated on a leeward slope of Mount Pantocrator, only 10 minutes away from the nearest beach, that of Paramonas. Villa Panoramic is located at a distance of 450 metres from Paramonas beach and 2 km from the village of Agios Mattheos.

There are many sights and areas of unique natural beauty. The Byzantine Castle of Gardiki, which was built in the 14th century, the Palaeolithic Grava Cave, the picturesque chapels in the town of Corfu, Lake Korissia, which has been classified as a biotope, and the historical Pantocrator Monastery with its magnificent view, which is situated at the very top of the mountain of the same name, are only a few of the options available to those who wish to become better acquainted with the area.

. excellent séjour, vue extraordinaire, dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée en arrière saison. Et peut être revoir le contenu vaisselle.Le souci évoqué par un autre locataire n'a pas été résolu, pas possible d'utiliser le spa car la vidange ressort par la bouche de pièce. Mais la maison reste hyper agréable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Panoramic. With beautiful views on every direction, large spacious rooms and a fantastic pool to enjoy, it ticked all the boxes for what we were looking for. One issue we had that did affect the experience there........ We found that we couldn't use the jacuzzi because when we pulled the plug out after use, it flooded the bathroom by coming up through the bathroom floor drain and left an awful smell in the room, so definitely a drainage problem that needs addressing. I'm sure they will get this fixed in due course.

Amazing Villa

This villa is a wonderful place to stay. The views are stunning and watching the sunset from the terrace is lovely after spending the day in the amazing, huge pool, which was cleaned on a very regular basis by Yannis. The bedrooms are clean and all are a great size with access to their own terraces and all the other rooms are large, airy and the kitchen is well stocked. It is just a 15 minute walk to the lovely little beach with two restaurants. The Sunset Bar does great food with friendly service.The climb back up is not for the faint hearted but my daughter managed to push a pushchair all the way up!! A car is necessary in order to fetch your supplies from the well stocked supermarkets in the nearby town of Aghios Matheus. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink there too. If you have read other reviews it mentions the road up to the villa, you just have to drive very slowly, no problem.You are only a 40 minute drive from Corfu Town and only about 20 minutes from other sandy beaches, with bars and restaurants. The very friendly and welcoming host Spiros was lovely and helpful and the welcome pack on arrival was most thoughtful. The home-cooked pasta dish cooked by his family was delicious!His olive oil estate is also worth visiting to try out his very special, local olive oil.I would thoroughly recommend this villa if you like the peace and quiet and want to have your own little paradise in an amazing setting. Thank you Spiros for a wonderful stay

Wir haben eine Woche in der ruhig gelegenen, weitläufigen Villa verbracht. Die Auffahrt ist etwas holprig, der Ausblick und der große Pool dafür umso atemberaubender. Strände, Supermarkt, und Restaurants sind in der Nähe vorhanden und gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir sind am Abend angereist und haben uns sehr über einen gefüllten Kühlschrank gefreut. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

Ideal in Corfu

This was our first vacation with all our adult children together and it was made perfect by Villa Panoramic.The property is spacious with plenty of room for relaxation indoors and out. Balconies for bedrooms as well as the main room have views over the nearby mountains and the sea. Also plenty of space to relax by the swimming pool.The town of Agios Mattheos is wonderfully unspoiled, located in a quiet part of the island that is not overrun with tourists but has lovely scenery and authentic local restaurants. Our host Spiros was wonderful from start to finish, including finding a doctor for a late night health emergency the evening before we left. Spiros owns a family olive oil business The Governor's Mill. Go for a tasting and tour. You'll never taste better.

Our best family holiday

Now, it has taken me almost a year to write this review but I promised myself I would try to leave one that did this property justice. We are a family of four, 4 and 5 year old. Our 5 year old has disabilities, both mental and physical, and our aim of this holiday was to allow him space to be himself without the usual stares or comments from fellow holiday makers. From the moment we arrived we felt at home, greeted at the boundary of the property and escorted to the house, lovely kebabs waiting for us on arrival as it was quite late when we finally got in. The property was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was immaculate and cleaned by a lovely gent who we loved chatting with as he completed his cleaning. I would recommend a vehicle of your own to make getting to the local shops and beach easily accessible. It has almost been a year since our stay and our children, still to this day, ask when we are going back to "our home in Greece". We were able to connect, relax, play and enjoy family time in a beautiful location, a lovely house, provided by a beautiful family. Our son was able to be himself in the safety of the villa and garden. Unfortunately, our son's health issues haven't allowed us the opportunity to save to return but as a family, we are determined to return as soon as possible to enjoy another week in our "secret paradise villa". We will be back, soon hopefully

Stunning view from villa

Stayed 10 nights in this lovely villa, the views are spectacular!! We had mixed weather during our stay & the villa was a great viewing spot for watching the thunderstorms! The villa has everything you want, we always hire a villa with a pool & by far this was the biggest! The villa is in a quiet area & if you want a chilled, peaceful holiday this is the place. There are 2 supermarkets in the village next to Paramonas that stock everything you need. The road to the villa is quite bumpy so take it slowly but it wouldnt put us off hiring the villa again. The standout with this villa are the owners, Spyros & George. Communication was good & any questions were answered promptly. We knew if we needed anything all we needed to do was to contact them. It was lovely to meet George the day before we left & we received a phone call on the day we left to wish us a safe flight home! Thank you both for allowing us the privilege to stay in your beautiful villa.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt in Paramonas

Die Villa ist die am höchsten gelegene im Ort mit einem fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, könnte die Villa innen renoviert werden. Da wir nur zum Schlafen und Kochen drinnen waren, hat uns das aber nicht gestört. Die Sauberkeit war top: Die Betten, sowie der Pool wurden während unserem Aufenthalt gemacht/gesäubert. Der Außenbereich mit Pool, Terasse und Grill war einfach fantastisch! Zum Check-Inn kam der Vater des Vermieters mit Getränken, Snacks und Olivenöl Produkten aus der eigenen Produktion. Außerdem war die Kommuikation mit Spyros super freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Vila Paramonas

Eine sehr schöne und geräumige Villa mit viel Ruhe oben auf dem Berg. Wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer von allen Terrassen. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn es von Nöten war. Das Highlight ist der Pool. Nach einer Tagestour wurde dieser ausgiebig genutzt. Den Aufenthalt in der Villa Paramonas haben wir sehr genossen.

Phantastische Aussicht und Erholung pur

Wir hatten im Oktober 2023 zehn traumhafte Tage in der Villa Panoramic. Der Name ist Programm: Von der Terrasse, dem Pool und von jedem Balkon aus hat man einen phantastischen Panoramablick auf das Ionische Meer. Besser geht es nicht! Der Pool hat eine tolle Größe, die es dem sportlichen Urlauber auch ermöglicht, Bahnen zu ziehen. Allerdings ist er im Oktober schon recht kalt (ca. 24 Grad). Da wir aber die ganze Zeit über keine Wolke gesehen haben, und es immer zwischen 25 und 27 Grad warm war, habe sogar ich Frostbeule mich noch in den Pool gewagt. Die Kommunikation mit Spyros war problemlos und sehr angenehm. Nachdem wir am ersten Morgen bemängelt hatten, dass die Kaffeemaschine nicht funktioniere, wurde uns wenige Stunden später eine neue gebracht. Eine Warnung an alle Nachmieter: Wenn ihr ankommt, fahrt UNBEDINGT bis zu dem kleinen Schild "Villa Panoramic"! Auch wenn der schmale Weg aussieht wie ein lange nicht benutzter Waldweg, ist dies doch die richtige Zufahrt zum Haus. Wir hatten (wie wohl 90 Prozent der bisherigen Mieter auch) aus Unwissenheit die steile Auffahrt zur Villa Paradiso (dem Haus unter Villa Panoramic) genommen - und mussten mit den Koffern ca. 70 Stufen zum Haus hinaufgehen. Danach ist man ganz sicher urlaubsreif!

Une villa avec une belle vue et au calme

Les plus : La très belle vue, le calme, la grande piscine, les balcons. Les moins : le chemin d accès un peu trop cabossé sur les 50 derniers mètres et il faut absolument une voiture. Il manque un repetiteur de wifi pour les chambres à l'étage, seul le rez-de-chaussée a la wifi et il n'y a pas beaucoup de réseau téléphonique.

Um es gleich vorab zu sagen, ich habe etwas gezögert, diese Bewertung zu verfassen, denn eigentlich werden nur 4 Sterne der Villa nicht gerecht...... Die fantastische Lage, der Ausblick, die Sauberkeit, eigentlich die gesamte Anlage an sich sind allemal 5 Sterne wert und auch die etwas erschwerte Anfahrt der letzten paar hundert Meter (ungefährlich und kein Problem für einen halbwegs geübten Fahrer) trübt diesen Eindruck nicht. Die Fotos entsprechen der Realität und geben einen guten Eindruck wieder. Der Pool ist toll, auch wurde er oft gereinigt ebenso im Haus. Dabei waren die Mitarbeiter des Vermieters überaus freundlich. Und trotzdem nur 4 Sterne? Da ist zum Einen die Küchenausstattung, die nicht wirklich zum sonst so großartigen Eindruck passte. Aus vielerlei Serien zusammengestückeltes Geschirr, stark zerkratzte Pfannen mit zT gelöster Teflonbeschichtung und bei Vermietung für bis zu 8 Personen gerade einmal gesamt acht Trinkgläser in vier verschiedenen (!) Arten. Manche Besteckteile waren im Überfluss vorhanden, von anderen aber nur fünf oder sechs ... Glücklicherweise waren wir nur zu viert. Auch die Kaffeemaschine war nicht einsetzbar, ebenso der Fernseher. Aber selbst über all das hätte ich hinweggesehen (so wichtig ist TV im Urlaub ja auch nicht), wenn man eben zumindest versucht hätte, auf unsere Anfrage (nur für TV) zu reagieren. Doch wenn man der Mitarbeiterin dies bereits am ersten Tag (und später nochmal) mitteilt, die es weitergeben möchte, nach einigen Tagen dann per Nachricht an die Mobilnummer des Vermieters nachfragt und diese -wie auch schon kurz vor Anreise- auch Anfragen über FEWO-Direkt selbst unbeantwortet bleiben ist das wirklich schade und passt nicht zu diesem Objekt bzw vorherigen Rezensionen. Daher dann doch ein Stern weniger. Fragen kurz vor der Anmietung wurden übrigens schnell und freundlich beantwortet. So mag es mag nun Gründe gegeben haben, die eine Antwort verhinderten, doch Mieter aus einem Nachbarhaus mit gleichen Vermieter berichteten von derselben Erfahrung. Und trotzdem, wenn wieder Korfu auf unserem Urlaubsplan steht, wäre Villa Panoramic eindeutig unserer erste Wahl!

Tolle Unterkunft mit fantastischem Ausblick

Eine tolle Villa mit einem riesigen Pool. Ausblick aufs Meer ist fantastisch. Anfahrt allerdings abenteuerlich, Straßenverhältnisse mangelhaft. Nach ein paar Tagen gewöhnt man sich aber dran. Kleiner Strand und Tavernen zu Fuß erreichbar, in 2km Entfernung Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Agois Mattheios (kleine Supermärkte, Bäcker, Metzger etc.). Freundlicher Kontakt mit den Vermietern, wir haben leckere Moussakka bekommen an einem Abend. Zu empfehlen wenn man kein schreckhafter Autofahrer ist wegen der problematischen Anfahrt.

Entspannung pur

Die Villa Panoramic befindet sich in den Bergen, ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich nebst einem erfahrenen Fahrer. Der wunderschöne Blick auf das Meer faszinierte uns alle. Vor jedem Zimmer ist eine Terrasse, die wir immer zum Frühstück oder Abendessen nutzten.Das Gelände um die Villa ist sehr großzügig und gepflegt. Der Pool fand unsere ungeteilte Liebe. Den Strand kann man zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten erreichen. Besonders beeindruckend waren die Vermieter, die uns am Anreisetag mit hochwertigen Lebensmitteln und Getränken versorgten. Am vorletzten Abend bereiteten sie uns eine leckere Moussaka zu. Für alle, die das Ursprüngliche in den Bergen suchen, ist Panoramic in Aghios Mattheos eine sehr gute Adresse.

Es war ein ruhiger Urlaub mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick. Wer Ruhe sucht ist dort genau richtig. Die Anlage war sehr sauber und es waren alle nötigen Utensilien vor Ort. Alle zwei bis drei Tage hat sich jemand um den Pool gekümmert und das Haus wurde von einer Reinigungskraft einmal gesäubert. Die Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Auto ist ein Muss, um alles bequem zu erreichen. Etwas lästig waren die Wespen. Für Allergiker wichtig zu erwähnen. Alles in allem ein erholsamer Urlaub und ein schöner Aufenhaltsort den wir gerne weiter empfehlen!

Beautiful villa with the most amazing views - car absoutely essential

This is a beautiful, spacious villa, furnished in a traditional style and with the most amazing, panoramic sunset views out across the ocean. The host family were incredibly kind and hospitable and went over and above to make our stay comfortable - even bringing a delicious home cooked Moussaka (courtesy of Sophie). George and his father Spyros were absolutely the most incredible hosts! The villa has a beautiful large pool, from which we loved watching the sunset every single night. During our stay, wasps were quite a problem, though we understand this may be island wide at this time of year. There was no ATM or shop in the nearest village (1km walk) and pretty much no cell phone coverage. Whilst this might be considered a blessing, it did prove extremely troublesome for us when trying to receive a passenger location form verification SMS. We enjoyed our shopping walks to the nearest supermarkets (about a one hour round trip), but we wouldn't recommend this walk (especially with bags of shopping) for the faint hearted. Overall, the villa and the hosts were absolutely amazing and we would definitely come here again, but would be certain to collect a hire car from the airport and keep it for the entire stay, even if we were planning to stay around the villa for much of the time. Very very nice. Would recommend.

We had a great stay. Came with my daughter 16, sin 20 , husband and Inlaws both un their 80th. First the owners are extremely nice and helpful. We came from a very lo g flight to find a fridge containing drinks and lunchmeat, as well as a loaf of bread : that is such a nice gesture! The location is incredible. We loved the quiet and of course the view. The little strand at the bottom of the hill was cute, the food at the tavern in the village was also good. We enjoyed very much exploring the island during to day, then come back to the villa. Each time we would arrive we had the same feeling of awe looking at the sea. If you want a nice relaxing stay off the stress of mass tourism I would definitely recommend staying at the Panoramic Villa.
