Almost Heaven: Awesome Views, Private Poo & Hot Tub, Pet-friendly

Enjoy spectacular, huge, wide open ocean views over acres of undisturbed dunes and a flourishing maritime forest. Awe-inspiring views from the entire great room and deck. Take a short direct stroll to the beach on the tree shaded walkway through natural area. Privacy abounds at this large, luxurious home located in a cul-de-sac with forest cradling the private pool and hot tub (for 6 people). It is just around the corner to the community tennis courts and a bass fishing lake.

12' x 28' private pool and hot tub. Located in a cul-de-sac in Ocean Sands, 'Almost Heaven' features 2 master bedrooms with jetted tubs, TVs, Blu-Ray player in the main living area, DVD players, WiFi, and 2 gas fireplaces available mid October through the end of April. There is more... 3 levels of decks, a rec room with pool table, wet bar. High chair, pack-n-play, picnic table, grill & built in table next to grill, outdoor furniture, fish cleaning table.

TV SERVICE: Please note that this home offers Smart TVs throughout the home for streaming services only. There is no cable/satellite service available.

Pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Meh rental

House needs a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint in all of the rooms.Numerous dead bugs along ceiling seems.Matresses were terrible Pool was clean and had common areas for large families.

Overall, the home was awesome. The stove could use a major update & a few of the mattresses on middle level could be updated.

Wasn’t super clean but it was adequate. The stove was the biggest issue. Couldn’t boil water for a big spaghetti dinner for the family so had to use 3 smaller pots on smaller burners to get the job done. Pot of water was on the burner for over an hour and never got to a boil. Lots and lots of cobwebs everywhere. Might be typical of the area but looked like they hadn’t been cleaned off in quite some time. Mattresses needed replacement. Several drains in showers and sinks were very slow running. However, despite this we had a wonderful time! Pool & grill were great. House just needs some TLC.

Excellent Choice!

Our family of 18 plus a dog stayed here for 1 week in June 22. Such an amazing location! We loved how secluded we felt while using the pool and back deck areas. Only one house on the side and then the other side and back were wooded! The pool was our hangout spot for sure. Walk to the beach was easy and not far. Grocery and fun shops and restaurants were all close. Some of the screen doors were off or broken when we arrived and the box to hold laundry outside but we reported it immediately and never heard anything back? This DID NOT affect our vacation at all so not a problem. The house had everything we needed to cook so we did not go to restaurants. Going to the beach at night to look for crabs was a family favorite. The wagon they provide was much appreciated. The house is not modern but was comfortable and clean. We have used rental houses for our vacations for almost 30 years and this one was exactly as represented and a good price. Thanks for having us in your home.
