House was clean, loved the game room, and location. There are many things that need to be repaired in the home. Please be aware the hot tub does not work and has not for some time.

House is ok

The home was clean aside from a huge hairball in one of the master showers.The listing pictures do not accurately reflect the current state of the home. The home needs several repairs which we were truly surprised about. The main frustration which I’m sure added to the cost to rent the home was that the hot tub is not working. This is not made clear in the listing pictures as there were at least 2 pictures highlighting the hot tub.

Just okay

The door handle broke the moment we opened the door and the door was hard to open. I reported it, and the property manager said they would replace it in the morning. We waited until noon to head out to the beachand they never showed. We could not lock the door properly. When did not stay out long because the door was not locked. We got back, it was still broken. I waited to call them back and when I did the property manager said the handle could be found at a hardware store and had to order it and it should be there next day. We never heard from the property manager again, and one of our group decided to stay behind during our trip because the door would not lock. We were concerned for our belongings and safety. Plus the lockbox on the outside was broken. This property has a pest problem too. There were cockraoches, the smaller kind, throughout the house and we even saw a large rat on the back patio that went under the deck. We love the size of the place but it needs a lot of maintenence and updates.
