Great Family House

This is a great house for hosting a large family event. All 3 floors have bedrooms and the 2nd floor is the gathering place with a large kitchen, breakfast room, den, etc. All 3 floors have great views from the balconies. Great location.....the house is on the golf course and close to the pools and the beach. The kids loved the bunk beds!

Excellent House for large group

You will enjoy your stay at this house. Palmilla community is beautifully designed and very family friendly. In an ideal world, the beaches wouldn't be so crowded, but that's unavoidable. As for this place, it's a winner. Clean, well designed and perfect for a big group of adults, teens and older kids. The view is fantastic! I enjoyed morning coffee on the level 2 deck watching the golfers, the beautiful landscape and a small view of the bay. The three floors were ideal for privacy, space and sanity. Each floor has it's own master bedroom with king bed and private bathroom. The third floor also has the two bunk rooms. Plenty of space for everybody. We had 11 people and were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic items- plates, cups, utensils, cooking and baking items, grill tools, blender, drink mixing tools, toaster, crock pot- more than I would have expected. The pantry has a few spices left over from other visitors, but plan to bring all of your grocery needs. Downstairs has an extra ice maker, which is great. The house also has plenty of board games and toys/balls to take out to the beach along with pool/beach towels. The location was ideal- walkable to the boardwalk and all of the fun activities. Got ourselves a couple of golf carts, which isn't really necessary but adds fun to the experience. We had a great time at the pools and playing bocce ball in the resort. I would recommend Palmilla and this house to anyone with a big group.

Good Tides was well appointed with all amenities! Especially the kitchen we cooked several meals and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable everyone including the children commented on them. Loved having two bunk rooms and three Masters so much space! Living area is small, but we brought the bean bag chairs down from one of the back rooms and had plenty of space.

Great house- could use a bit more supplies

The house was beautiful, clean and beds were very comfortable. Everything was exactly as pictured and we cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Little things knocked it down from 5 stars to 4: no dishwasher detergent was left, when we called they only brought us two tablets (we were a family of 8 staying for 4 days), two bathrooms had no hand soap, one bathroom ran out of body soap in the shower on day 3, vacuum and ice maker didn’t work. All in all, it was still a great stay, but compared to other homes we’ve stayed at in Palmilla, it just needed a bit more attention from the housekeeping staff to ensure supplies were available for guests.
