This is our 4th stay at Palmilla but first in this house. Location was excellent, but the house had multiple issues we have not experienced before. The dishwasher was broken, the water pressure was low throughout the house, the stove had 2 burners which would not light. We called the number given us and a local person came out but could not fix the problems. He said we would get a call from an appliance expert but no call came. After multiple calls to the 800 number we were told to expect a call but none came. Finally on our last evening the operations manager Chad and an appliance expert came around 5PM but could not fix any issues and of course we were checking out the next morning. Chad did mention that I should expect a partial refund, but I have not heard anything yet. The other issue is not with the home but the Palmilla Pool. We have always enjoyed this large kid friendly pool with cabanas but this time the pool was filthy with large amount of styrofoam particles, floating hair, and large amount of dirt on the bottom. It was not cleaned during our entire stay. I know that Vacasa does not manage the pool but it does reflect on the experience. We did enjoy the beach and had an otherwise great time except for the above issues which for the price we were paying I would not expect in a luxury property.
