The accommodation
Characteristic apartment in a medieval village, obtained from an ancient mill with centuries-old park and swimming pool, restored respecting the characteristics of the time, maintaining the original structures and providing them with all the comforts of modern living. The apartment made with handmade terracotta floors, ceilings with original wooden beams and bricks. The chandeliers are made of Murano glass and others are always handmade, in precious Vietri ceramics together with the splendid insert in the living room floor. The accommodation is equipped with every comfort, heating and air conditioning, electric oven and microwave

Guests can live completely free for the entire stay. We will only be present when the keys are handed over and the guarantee deposit is collected and the keys are returned. Other things to highlight
The apartment is also rented for short periods. When possible, the apartment is also used by the owners and is therefore supplied with accessories, utensils, bed linen and towels. It should be noted, however, that being a private home, the rental is carried out in a non-professional and organized way, i.e. without the provision of typical centralized services in the area such as linen change, cleaning, rearrangement, administration of food ... for who must provide the guest directly. We cannot issue an invoice, but only a simple receipt, the bank transfer or the HomeAway documentation will constitute proof of payment for the customer. The apartment is recognized as of historical importance and is not intended exclusively for tourist rentals, but for any housing needs of any nature and is subject only to the discipline of the articles of the civil code. It is delivered to guests in order. Only the prices for short rents include utilities, electricity, cooking gas, heating, hot and cold water. Only the cost of air conditioning is excluded, due only in case of use of the same, calculated separately at € 1.00 / KWH by means of a special meter checked together with the guest upon arrival and departure. Prices starting from 300 € for WEEK-END and from 700 € for weekly rentals. Prices for long term rentals are to be agreed. The tourist tax of € 1.50 per day per person for the first 4 days is due

it is located in the center of a small valley "The golden basin", which with its hills protects it from the cold north winds, always open to the sun, is immersed in the green "Valle d 'Esse" full of vineyards and olive groves, centuries-old trees and many cypresses that give the landscape a great serenity and mysticism. There are unique and exclusive places in the world. The "Cloister of Cortona" is one of them.
It is the medieval world that has been preserved as if time had stopped, an unreal place for a restful holiday in Tuscany.
Embedded in the cloister, like a rare brilliant of excellent cut and light, stands one of the most beautiful and ancient churches in the Arezzo valley dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo today simply called Sant 'Angelo di Cortona.
The origins of this church are very ancient and already in the IV-V century a Roman road passed by its side which still flanks the "Cloister of Cortona".

In the first centuries of the Roman Empire, Sant 'Angelo was a pagan temple which was transformed into a "Paleochristian" church under the Emperor Constantine until, with the occupation of the Lombards, around 599, it was demolished and rebuilt much more large adorned with a bell tower and two beautiful side apses that have remained intact even through the centuries as true jewels for their antiquity (sec. VII) simplicity and beauty.
The church of Sant 'Angelo was declared a national monument in 1907.

The apartment is ideal for experiencing the beating heart of the city, for visiting the many monuments (Etruscan Museum - Duomo - Cathedrals - Etruscan tombs ETC ..) and attending the many typical and characteristic places (inns, restaurants and taverns), where you can taste the unique dishes of the peasant tradition and the famous and precious Tuscan wines. A few kilometers you can reach Lake Trasimeno.
