「A lovely and tasteful conversion of an old school house by the current owners Chris and Lisa who made us welcome on first arrival! Entering through a gorgeous large porch into the wonderfully large yet cosy hall furnished with comfortable chesterfield and fireside chairs and kept toasty via a large attractive log burner! Lisa our host was attentive but not intrusive and made us feel comfortable and every wish catered for through out our 2 day visit including the delicious full English Lisa...

「As soon as I walked in, I was impressed. Beautiful Naomi at reception had already upgraded my room. Which was warm, fluffy towels, luxury tea tray. The cafe has great coffee served by super friendly Anna. I travel a lot and often skip a hotel b'fast due to the poor quality, but this one was delicious and made from scratch. Yum! Naomi made up the real fire for me so that I could do some work in the lounge before I left. Excellent and highly recommended. 」

「I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. I got here around midday and fro that point onward everything was fantastic. All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer. We got back around midnight and had a chat with the owner, who again was really friendly. The room was super clean, fresh and cosy. The bed was big and the sheets were really crisp!
