Villa Rose Hotel & Spa

"Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made a great impression. The bathroom was very clean, but the bathtub was quite tall, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Also, my husband is 6’2”, and the shower head was mounted too low for him to shower comfortably. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but they provide a floor fan in the room. We found that the fan kept the room comfortable, even without A/C. One downside was that the elevator was extremely slow, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent customer service, and we’d consider staying here again."

"We checked in and were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Our room was very spacious very clean and overlooked the harbour, couldn't have been better. Breakfast was a buffet and again good. Evening meal beautiful. We will go again and highly recommend the Central hotel."

"The Inishowen Gateway is a very pleasant spot to stay, with friendly staff; comfortable and quiet rooms; an atmospheric bar; and a well appointed leisure centre, with indoor swimming pool and well equipped gym. The location is not too far from the town centre, the food is tasty, and the overall ambience is one of easy relaxation."

"Very great hotel with helpful and enthusiastic staff also a lovely quiet atmosphere with great breakfast food. The room was amazing with a cozy bed and great tv and shower with hot water shower caps, the room seemed to have everything you need. An iron board was also a nice bonus. I’d rate the leisure centre a 10/10 honestly just perfect pool, hot tub and even a handy gym. One thing the hotel can work on is the WiFi broadband connection which was poor and not even able to be used at all. It it wasn’t for the broadband I would rate the hotel a 5 star."

"Nice hotel bit dated. Staff helpful friendly accommodating. Food amazing in restaurant. Breakfast not so good buffet breakfast maybe best for hoteliers but not for paying guests. People walking to tables with cups of hot water instead of pots of tea being served to tables very dangerous, someone will be burnt. Having said all that we will be returning in October to see Drifters. Hopefully few changes will be made."

"Hotel was 10/10 staff were friendly approachable and helpful. Our room was spotless and I asked for a room with a wee mini fridge as was travelling with Children wasn’t any hassle beautiful food and fantastic options for breakfast. Kids had an amazing time they loved the pool and did not want to go home."
