“I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult……

“The Waverley has everything you want for a short stay, rooms are clean and fresh, shower room is ensuite and modern and there is plenty of tea & coffee (and biscuits) in the room. In the room we stayed in there was a large wardrobe and drawer chest. Bed was new and firm. Breakfast has a good range of options including cooked and continental”
